United Methodist Women provides an opportunity for women of all ages to learn more about worldwide and local missions while making friendships in small group and large group settings. Our goal is to lift up Jesus by letting his love be seen in action in our lives.

All members meet in UMW-wide gatherings at Bon Air UMC several times during the year. The smaller group meetings (circles--named after notable Methodist missionaries) are held each month--several in member's homes, others at the church. We have both daytime and evening circles. We welcome you to join with us as we meet monthly for programs, study and support mission projects, and have wonderful fellowship and support. We work together to accomplish our UMW mission goals, to participate in spiritual life and educational events, social action, and mission projects affecting women and children locally and worldwide. In addition to achieving our purpose and goals, we we also support each other in any way we can through all the vicissitudes of life. Sometimes we do this by cooking a meal, visiting the hospital, arranging a memorial lunch or tea, bringing dinner for the family, holding a hand, or just being there to comfort and listen.
